Setup
- Log in to the router's admin panel using the default address: 192.168.8.1.
- Go to the VPN section and select OpenVPN Client.
- In the opened window, select "Add manually" in the lower half of the window.
- Generate an OpenVPN configuration file using the configuration generator and select the Linux configuration.
- Enter any provider name, for example, "Xeovo".
- Click "Select a file or drag it here", then choose the generated OpenVPN configuration file (for example, "xeovo-no-udp.ovpn").
- In the "Username" and "Password" fields below, enter your Xeovo account credentials and click Apply.
- After the file has been imported, click the ellipsis (⋯) icon on the right and select Start from the dropdown menu. The indicator next to your connection name should change from yellow to green.
- To verify the connection, visit DoesMyVPN.work.
How to disconnect
To disconnect your VPN connection, open your OpenVPN client list, click the ellipsis (⋯) icon next to your connection, and select Stop from the dropdown menu.
