I think it doesn't work with AWG, but only with vanilla WG
Personally, it works for me with both AmneziaWG and vanilla WG. I was just doing this today. I just wrote my solution, in case someone has a similar problem.
You're right! They recently added Amnezia support. You can see it on the main Wiresock page with a "New" label. This is great news because the original Amnezia really sucks and always causes trouble 🙂
