Hi devs,
I've noticed that the FI-1 server is constantly running at 100% capacity.
Are there any plans to add another VPN server in Helsinki to distribute the load and provide users with a more stable and fast connection?
FI-1 offers fast speeds and low latency for users in Russia when it's not overloaded.
Adding another server would help maintain this performance
thx

Hi,
Trust me we would love to do that, however thanks to AI boom there is no stock with our current supplier. Going with other providers such as Datapacket or Hetzner is not going to work, because they are mostly blocked.
So, instead of that we have added new location in another city which is Turku to even out the load (kinda seems to work, but since we haven't made any official announcements yet I suspect majority of people haven't downloaded new configs).
(Spoiler alert!) we are planning to add two more cities soon, if everything goes smoothly (Tampere and Oulu). And again thanks to the AI boom we had to wait about 2 months for the delivery. In normal times delivery time was around 1-2 weeks max.
